Chugg told Pollstar that festivities in Australia would include a charity concert and a reissue of his memoir, “Hey You In The Black T-shirt,” with fresh chapters.

Chugg was 15 when he got into promoting in Launceston, Tasmania. His foray was a fundraising dance for the Launceston Cycling Club, of which he was a member. It drew 250 people and earned A$80, “which in 1964 was a fair bit of money,” Chugg reflected.
