NJ Fans Can Apply Now For Tickets

Eligible concertgoers who attended shows at in Holmdel, N.J., can apply now for free tickets under a preliminary settlement approved last month between Live Nation and fans who challenged ticket fee add-ons at the shed.

The 2009 lawsuit was sparked by the venue’s mandatory $6 parking fee regardless of whether you had a vehicle to park.

A hearing to finalize the settlement doesn’t take place until March 28, but anyone who bought tickets online between June 23, 2003 to June 15, 2011 for shows at the venue is allowed to claim three free lawn tickets as well as $5 discount coupon codes.

The tickets and discounts can be used at select shows at the PNC Bank Arts Center and Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, N.J.

Live Nation estimates that nearly 363,000 people are eligible to claim the tickets and coupons, and a company attorney told the Star-Ledger that fans have already been notified of their eligibility.

Those who believe they are eligible but have not received notification can contact one of two law firms representing Live Nation in the case, or visit www.livenationsettlement.com for more information.

Applications will be accepted until April 30.
