WME’s New CFO

In his new role, Klein will oversee WME’s global finance operation following the company’s pending purchase of IMG Worldwide.

WME and strategic partner Silver Lake Partners announced plans to acquire IMG Dec. 18.

Klein spent 11 years with Microsoft and served as the company’s CFO from November 2009 to June 2013.

Previously, he spent 13 years in corporate finance at companies including McCaw Cellular Communications, Orca Bay Capital and Homegrocer.com.

As WME’s CFO, he’ll report directly to Whitesell and Emanuel.
