George Strait Announces Final Show Lineup
The King of Country will be joined by a special guest lineup fit for, well, a king when he takes the stage for the final concert of his last tour. While the other dates on the outing features one or two guests, this one has 12 including Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney and Eric Church.
The last date on George Strait’s “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour 2014” is set for June 7. There will be plenty of room for his fans because the gig will take place at the 100,000-capacity AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Along with the acts mentioned above, the special guest lineup also features Sheryl Crow, Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride and Lee Ann Womack. Each act will perform three songs each. Plus, Asleep At The Wheel will open the concert.
Tickets go on sale to the public Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. CST.
If for some reason your schedule is all booked up and you can’t make it to Arlington June 7, the good news is that although this is Strait’s final tour, Strait plans on continuing to record new music and playing select dates here and there.
