More Springsteen Gigs Down Under
With more than half of the previously announced gigs already sold out, fans should be pretty pleased with the news.
When the initial dates were announced in August, Springsteen manager Jon Landau promised that the upcoming adventure would be the band’s “most far reaching tour of Australasia ever” and that The Boss and the gang were “planning to make it their finest.” Landau said that after playing Australia earlier this year, the band wanted its return trip in 2014 “to expand the number of places we play to include the Hunter Valley, Perth and Adelaide, with a trip to Auckland as well.”
Well, what do you know – the new dates feature additional nights in Perth, Hindmarsh (a suburb of Adelaide), and Pokolbin *the centre of the Lower Hunter Valley wine region).
