Australians Head for Americana Music
A contingent of Australian performers spearheaded by singer-songwriter Paul Kelly heads to Nashville for the Americana Music festival, after it renewed a partnership with Australian Government-funded music exports body Sounds Australia.

A celebration of Nashville and country music capital Tamworth’s sister city tie-up will be Sept. 19 at Sheraton Hotel with The Borderers, The Bushwackers, Sam Hawksley, Damian Howard and Tamara Stewart
“A Taste Of Australia,” presented by Australian guitar maker Maton at The Second Fiddle, also includes Catherine Britt, The Hillbilly Killers, Mustered Courage and Melody Pool starting noon Sept. 20.
The Australian Football League’s Nashville Kangaroos present the Aussie BBQ and Showcase at The Basement Sept. 22.
