Falls Festival Expands To Third Event

Victoria, Australia’s 20-year old Falls Festival is expanding to its third event this year.

Ten years ago, it set up a second event, using the same acts, in Marion Bay in Tasmania.

This year, it will take place Dec. 31 to Jan. 3 at Splendour In The Grass’ site in Byron Bay.

Last September, Splendour’s Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco bought into Falls.

“The Byron Bay location couldn’t be better suited to everything that has always encompassed Falls in Lorne and Marion Bay,” said Falls founder Simon Daly. “Coastal and charming natural settings; a destination for our patrons to travel for.”
