Paris Jackson Hospitalized After Possible Suicide Attempt
Reports coming out of Los Angeles indicate that Paris Jackson was taken to a hospital early this morning after a possible suicide attempt.
Citing unidentified sources, TMZ reports that someone called 911 shortly before 1:30 a.m. and that Jackson “was taken out of her Calabasas family house on a stretcher at around 2 AM.” One source told the gossip web site that the caller “reported a possible overdose,” but an insider “connected to the emergency response” said “there were multiple cuts on one of her wrists.”

Saying that Jackson is apparently “doing OK,” TMZ also noted her Tuesday night “cryptic tweets,” which included “I wonder why tears are salty” and “yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they’re here to stay.”
Update: The New York Daily News reports that a lawyer for Michael Jackson’s mother Katherine Jackson confirmed that Paris Jackson had attempted suicide.
“She’s suffered with the loss of her father,” the lawyer said according to the Daily News. “But we don’t know what she was exposed to that precipitated this.”
