The LP Tour: Big Head Todd, Matthew Sweet, Soul Asylum & The Wailers
Big Head Todd and the Monsters will show off the rock band’s third album, 1993’s Sister Sweetly, which features the songs “Broken Hearted Savior,” “Bittersweet” and “Circle.”
Sweet will also play his third full-length album, 1991’s Girlfriend. The AV Club calls the album the best power-pop record of the ‘90s, noting that it “helped introduce the grunge generation to sparkle and coo.”
As for Soul Asylum, the alternative rock band is going with its sixth studio album, the triple-platinum Grave Dancers Union. Released in 1992, the LP includes the tracks “Somebody to Shove,” “Black Gold” and “Runaway Train.”
The Wailers’ set will be packed to the brim with hits because they are performing the best-selling reggae album of all time – Bob Marley & The Wailers’ greatest hits collection of singles, Legend. The 1984 release features “Is This Love,” “No Woman, No Cry,” “Get Up, Stand Up” and “I Shot The Sheriff.”
