Black Sabbath Books European Tour

Iommi, who told fans he completed his last dose of chemotherapy in March 2012, is ready to get on the road with Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler. The rockers’ 2013 calendar is starting to fill up with gigs around the globe in support of their new album.

Before touring Europe Black Sabbath has a previously announced trek to make Down Under with New Zealand and Australian dates scheduled April 20 through May 7. A few days after that tour wraps up, the band will headline the inaugural Ozzfest Japan May 12 in Chiba.

And June 10 brings the long-awaited release of 13, Black Sabbath’s first album with Ozzy Osbourne since 1978’s Never Say Die! With Bill Ward absent from the lineup because of drama over his contract, Rage Against The Machine’s Brad Wilk filled in on drums on 13.

The European tour begins Nov. 20 in Helsinki, Finland, and wraps Dec. 20 in the band’s hometown of  Birmingham, U.K. Check out the routing below:
