Smashing Pumpkins Taking Tea House Experience On Tour
In addition to the backstage tea house, the “Backstage Experience” also comes with a reserved premium seat ticket, on site VIP concierge, an exclusive autographed tour poster, an exclusive Smashing Pumpkins tour passport and a commemorative 3D laminate. Priced at $399, the VIP package takes its name from Madame Zuzu’s tea house, which Corgan opened last fall in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park.
“Gold Packages” are also available for $125 including a reserved premium seat ticket, the autographed tour poster, tour passport and commemorative 3D laminate.
The first stop on the band’s 2013 world tour is “Cumbre Tajin” in Papantla de Olarte, Mexico, March 23. The U.S. leg of the excursion begins April 29 in Melbourne, Fla.

The tour will once again feature visuals from Sean Evans, who is behind Roger Waters’ newest version of “The Wall” tour.
International dates are scheduled from June through July in Europe, followed by two August appearances at Japan’s “Summer Sonic.”
