The 68-year-old was expected to perform March 14-15 at Coach Joe’s Hat Tricks in Lewisville but began to experience intense chest pains as he was preparing to go onstage, according to TMZ. The club owner called 911 and paramedics arrived to transport the watermelon-smashing comedian to a nearby hospital.    

Gallagher collapsed on stage in Minnesota last year after suffering a “minor heart attack;” at press time, he was expected to be under observation at the hospital for a “couple of days.”

Update: Gallagher promotional manager Christine Scherrer said the comedian’s shows through next week have been postponed, according to CNN.
