James McCartney Back In The U.S.A.

James McCartney has scheduled a handful of rare U.S. appearances for January and February including his U.S. television debut on the “Late Show With David Letterman.”

The British musician/songwriter is crossing the pond in support of the recent release of The Complete EP Collection, which features McCartney’s two previous EPs – Close At Hand and Available Light – along with five never-heard bonus tracks. The two-disc set was produced by his father, Paul McCartney, and David Kahne.

McCartney and his band will get 2012 started with two appearances at Sundance Film Festival’s Sundance ASCAP Music Café in Park City, Utah, Jan. 23-24.

On Jan. 30 McCartney will take the stage on the “Late Show with David Letterman” on CBS.

The other two gigs on McCartney’s plate take place on the East Coast. On Feb. 1 he plays New York City’s Rockwood Music Hall, followed by a Feb. 3 show in Asbury Park, N.J., at the Wonder Bar.
