briefly interrupted Shania Twain show
Twain, who was in the middle of performing “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” chatted with the audience for a few minutes before a secondary power source kicked in and the show continued.
“We had so much fun in LA that we blew the power out!” she tweeted later. “We came back up within minutes and kept rocking @STAPLESCenter! #rockthiscountry.”
The explosion occurred about a mile away and a spokesman for the fire department told KTLA a building generator was believed to have caused the blast. Four people suffered minor injuries in the incident, the station said.
