Live Nation Denmark promoter Jeppe Nissen says the sixth edition of his Copenhell festival was the one that firmly placed the event on the global rock map.

Despite its usual visit from some wet and windy weather, the event on the disused container ship building yard at B.W. Pladsen managed to do 12,000 per day.
“It’s established itself as a serious player on the rock/metal festival scene and become a high quality festival with a strong brand,” Nissen told Pollstar.
The acts helping the rock fans put up with the cold and rain in Copenhagen June 18-20 included Slipknot, Gojira, Primus, Kreator, Hammerfall, and Black Stone Cherry.
