Shino Lin asserts she was “swindled,” according to Chinatopix, by the Chinese organizers who arranged the concerts. Media reports say that Lin closed a deal with Dachuan Music for a 40-day tour of China totaling 32 concerts, which started March 7. However, by the end of the tour she only managed to perform 11 times, and had been forced to cancel the other shows because “the organizers always showed up late.”

At one point, after a concert in Chongqing, Lin missed a train because the staff took a detour in order to retrieve some personal belongings.

On her Weibo page, Lin stated that because of the poor organization she disappointed a good number of her fans. She demanded a public apology from those she felt were responsible for the missed dates.

Lin’s complaints were borne out by a member of her touring band who also said on Weibo that the entourage never knew where they were going to perform from one day to the next, and usually didn’t even know where they would stay until they got there. In many cases they would spend an entire day on a train only to arrive at a venue and learn that the show had been canceled. In the end, “we had to take the blame.”

According to Chinatopix, Dachuan Music has not answered Lin’s charges.
