Bus Driver Sues Lil’ Wayne
Mark Jones accuses the rapper of false imprisonment, assault and emotional distress, according to court documents obtained by the New York Daily News.
The suit contends the incident began when Jones stopped to fill up the bus following a concert near Buffalo and Wayne instead demanded to go to his hotel, threatening to beat the driver up and taunting him several times to fight. Jones refused and the rapper allegedly ordered everyone else to the back of the bus before pulling out a gun.
Wayne “then cocked the gun and at close range to (the driver) pointed it directly at him and said, ‘I want to get to the hotel now,’” the suit says. Jones claims Wayne held the gun to his head for the rest of the drive and says he quit once they arrived at the hotel because “he feared for his life.” His suit seeks unspecified damages.
