Stars Out-Throbs The Throb
Stars’ new album, No One Is Lost, is streaming via NPR Music right now, one week before its Oct. 14 release. Recorded at Montreal’s Mile End Studios, the disc is being hailed by the band as its “most dance-floor-ready album to date.” That’s probably because there was a now-closed discotheque located below the studio.
“The sub-base throb coming from the club below our studio was undeniably and unavoidably influential,” drummer Pat McGee said. “It motivated us to out-throb the throb.”
Already having a full plate of November dates on its agenda, Stars has more touring ahead, playing mostly in Canada with a few U.S. shows rounding out the journey. Here are the new dates:
