Wayne “The Train” Hancock Postpones Tour

A motorcycle accident has forced Wayne “The Train” Hancock to postpone all dates through June 8.  The roots-country artist is recovering in a hospital near his Denton, Texas, home.

This was no minor mishap for Hancock.  The man who wrote “Thunderstorms and Neon Signs” suffered a collapsed lung, multiple broken ribs and a fractured elbow.  However, he did manage to smile for a photo that he posted on Facebook showing him in his hospital bed.

Word from label Bloodshot Records is that shows through June 8 are postponed “until further notice.”  Because Hancock’s income as an independent artist is derived mostly from performing and selling recordings and merchandise, Bloodshot is asking that fans help offset his growing medical costs and lost revenues by donating on Paypal to [email protected].
