Live Nation Sued Again In NJ
Live Nation is being sued again under New Jersey’s Consumer Fraud Act of 2001, and again stemming from ticket availability for Bruce Springsteen shows.
Marilyn Forst filed a class-action suit against the company April 17, alleging too many tickets to Springsteen concerts were withheld from sale to the public.
According to the state consumer protection act, no more than 5 percent of tickets may be kept from gener April 3 and 4, 2012; and
The suit alleges violation of the Consumer Fraud Act and unjust enrichment. Forst, on behalf of herself and the putative class, seeks injunctive relief, treble damages, interest, disgorgement, court costs and attorney fees.
