Broken Bells From Coast To Coast

So, what happens after the disco, anyway? Well, when it comes to Broken Bells’ plans, The Shins’ frontman James Mercer and producer Danger Mouse have more dates to do this summer in support of the duo’s sophomore album.

Released in January, After the Disco was recorded with the 17-piece Angel City String Orchestra and a four-piece choir. USA Today gave the album three and a half stars, writing that Danger Mouse and Mercer “raise their game on this sophomore outing by simply delivering fatter hooks, juicier melodies, dreamier vocals and more of the dark shimmer that enveloped the duo’s 2010 debut. The funky title track takes disco to the cosmos.”
