Madison House Inc. continues to expand. The booking agency and management company announced the addition of three agents – senior agents Brian Swanson and Brent Tactic and junior agent Chris Palmer – on Thursday.

The company, based in Boulder, Colo., also announced the addition of a new office in Pacific Grove, Calif., near Monterey, which Swanson will lead.

“The move to Madison House couldn’t feel more natural for me and the artists I bring to the fold,” said Swanson, who joins Madison House from Paradigm and will bring acts with him including Smash Mouth, Spin Doctors, The Beths, Trailer Park Boys, Bad Bad Hats and Emily Wolfe.

“The energy I’ve witnessed since we started talking has been mind-blowing,” Swanson continued. “This is about open mindedness and embracing someone’s vision, whether it’s on the artist side or the agent side.”

Palmer worked with Swanson at Paradigm on acts including Bad Bad Hats and The Beths, and will work out of Madison House’s office in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Tactic, meanwhile, joins Madison House from Rogue Agency, and will bring a large roster that includes Bad Gyal, Lex Luger, Fat Tony, SSION, P.O.S. and Mark Redito with him to the firm. Currently based in New York City, Tactic will eventually work out of Madison House’s recently expanded Nashville office.

“The landscape has changed enormously,” Madison House co-founder Nadia Prescher said in a statement. “Anyone who has been in the business a few decades has certainly seen a massive shift in the number of independent agencies operating in North America. Twenty-three years later, we still pride ourselves on owning an agency that focuses on our independent spirit – one that continues to benefit our clients.”

The additions of Swanson, Tactic and Palmer follow additions made to the Madison House team in recent months. In February, Madison House added Jon Bell to its Nashville office, Allen Roper to its Boulder office, and Sahil Mehta to a new office in Oakland, Calif.

In April, the company added artist manager Angela Jensen and booking agent Tyler Hettel to its Boulder office.

“2018 brought on some much-needed change for Madison House,” Prescher said when the February additions were announced. “Over the years, since the formation in 1996, we’ve initiated distinct growth stages at specific times. This is certainly one of them, and I’m inspired and thrilled with our plan for the year and beyond.”
