StubHub Appoints Dan Jones As Vice President Of International
StubHub has announced the appointment of Dan Jones as vice president of international. Jones will be based in Madrid with oversight of EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific regions.
Jones will be responsible for driving the worldwide expansion of US-born StubHub.
Prior to StubHub, Jones was senior vice president at genealogy website Ancestry, were he managed the company’s international business and oversaw its global content, including the 2015 launch of the Ancestry DNA consumer genomics product in the U.K., Canada and Australia.
Previously, Jones spent six years at The National Archives of the U.K., where he held a number of roles, including leading the business development, online services and marketing/PR departments.
From 1996 to 2002, Jones worked in digital content, as well as intellectual property acquisition and licensing, at the BBC and its commercial arm, BBC Worldwide.
Dan holds an LLB honours degree in Law and is a graduate of the University of Teesside and the College of Law, York.
e-Bay-owned StubHub, by its own admission, sells a ticket worldwide every 1.1 seconds across 10 million sports, music and theatre events in 44 countries.
