JMBLYA, the multi-city hip-hop and electronic music festival produced by ScoreMore Shows, is expanding beyond state lines with JMBLYA Arkansas Oct. 5 at the Walmart AMP in Rogers, Ark., with a lineup topped by Juice Wrld.

“We’re always looking to identify new opportunities and when a colleague of ours came to share their experience with shows in Arkansas, we knew we had to explore it,” ScoreMore Shows president and co-founder Sascha Stone Guttfreund said in a statement. “Our business has always been about bringing festivals to places that don’t typically have them and experiences at price points that are more affordable for the fans.”
The lineup also includes Playboi Carti, DaBaby, Murda Beatz, Lil Keed, and OMB Peezy, with guest performers to be announced.
Guttfreund, whose company joined Live Nation last year, says an opportunity to expand just made sense.
“Our original intention was for JMBLYA to stay a Texas-centric brand and launch entirely new concepts in new markets like we have with Neon Desert and Mala Luna in addition to our partnerships in Dreamville and Astroworld,” Guttfreund added, mentioning artist-curated for J. Cole and Travis Scott, respectively. “But the more time we spent talking to locals about our event, the more we kept hearing statements like ‘Why don’t you just bring JMBLYA out here? The kids all love that brand and they want to experience it right here, closer to home in Arkansas.’ Well, we have listened, and after years of planning, we look forward to seeing you all in October. And to our Texas family, don’t worry because we aren’t going anywhere and look forward to seeing you all again next year in 2020.”
Tickets go on sale Aug. 2 at JMBLYA.com, and a presale begins July 31 at 10 a.m. for those who sign up at JMBLYA.com. Tickets start at $45 and various VIP packages will be available.
Guttfreund began his Austin-based ScoreMore Shows while still in college, and with a keen ear for hip-hop, a focus on artist hospitality and taking care of artists, has seen those relationships endure with now-arena headliners like Travis Scott and J. Cole.
Live Nation Urban President Shawn Gee, an Impact 50 honoree, mentioned Guttfreund as a rising star in the business, saying, “Ask his artists and managers, he has some of the strongest relationships I’ve seen.”
