Metarama Gaming + Music Festival Unveils Lineup

The lineup for Metarama Gaming + Music Festival is here, featuring a mix of professional gamers, musicians and streaming stars including Marshmello, Ninja, Logic, Jacksepticeye, Snoop Dogg, Imagine Dragons (special gaming appearance only), Sodapoppin and Alan Walker. 

The inaugural event takes place Oct. 19-20 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds. Metarama is described as a celebration of the worlds of gaming, esports and live music, along with comedy, streaming and cosplay.  The fest is brought to you by C3 Presents and Esports Hospitality Concepts, which have put on  “hundreds of live esports events in Las Vegas.”

The lineup also features Nick Eh 30, DrLupo, Lindsey Stirling, Pokimane, Diesel (Shaquille O’Neal), NickMercs, Lil Yachty, Grouplove.

Highlights at the event include Metarama Masters, a celebrity Pro-Am tournament featuring musicians and gamers playing some of today’s top games together.; a Streamer Zone, where fans can play with celeb streamers; and a LAN Center with day-long amateur gaming tournaments.  Metarama also boasts amateur esports car racing, a vintage arcade with classic cabinet style games, and a tabletop gaming area.

The city of Vegas was a natural selection for the location, C3 Presents partner Charlie Walker previously told Pollstar, as local institutions like the Luxor Hotel and Casino – which partnered with Allied Esports to transform its nightclub into a 1,000-cap esports arena in 2017 – are making Vegas a prime gaming town.  

“We looked for a great festival site as well as a fun, easy city to travel to that has gaming culture embedded,” Walker said, adding that the festival is for “everyone who likes having fun,” and that “gaming and music go together, the fans are the same, everyone loves music and nowadays everyone games, so it feels like a natural combination. The gamers are rock stars and vice versa.”
