CTS Eventim Launches Face Value Resale Platform Fansale In Switzerland

As planned and previously reported, CTS Eventim’s Swiss Operation Ticketcorner has launched Fansale, a resale platform that only processes legitimate tickets, verified by Eventim, at fair prices.

“I’m glad that we have Fansale now to offer a reputable platform for the fair and secure resale of tickets”, said Andreas Angehrn, CEO of Ticketcorner, “if you are unable to attend a show or if you’re looking for a ticket to a sold out event, you can buy or sell tickets via fansale.ch.”

Every ticket offered on Fansale is examined based on various features. It will not be released for sale unless it is guaranteed to be legitimate. At that point, it is provided with “Ticketcheck”, Ticketcorner‘s seal of approval. 

At the current time, only Eventim tickets can be sold via Fansale, because the examination of tickets from other systems requires significant manual input and causes substantial costs, according to the announcement. 

“However, Ticketcorner does not rule out a future collaboration with other ticket providers,” it states.

“Fansale is not designed to pursue a commercial purpose”, Angehrn emphasized. The pricing corresponds to the original ticket price in addition to a fee to cover expenses. To prevent transactions for profit at Fansale, resales are limited to a certain number of tickets per person

A separate login to offer or purchase a ticket is not required at Fansale. Customers log on to Ticketcorner and use a credit card or the direct payment option for a fully automated payment process. The amount is credited to the seller’s bank account and the ticket is delivered via print@home.
