Europe Lineup Roundup: Chance The Rapper At Roskilde, Rosalía Joins Mad Cool Welcome Party

Roskilde, which takes place in the eponymous city in Denmark, June 29-July 6, previously announced that it had completed its lineup. Turns out, that wasn’t the case, as its curators just added Chance The Rapper to an already impressive list containing The Cure, Bob Dylan, Cardi B, Robyn, Christine and the Queens, Janelle Monáe, Noel Gallagher, Johnny Marr, Vampire Weekend and Rosalía.

Speaking of the Spanish phenomenon: Rosalía will also perform at Mad Cool Festival’s welcome party on Wednesday, July 10, alongside Bring Me The Horizon, Lykke Li, The Cat Empire, Metronomy, Don Broco and others.
The festival officially kicks off in Madrid one day later, with a monster lineup including Ms. Lauryn Hill, Vampire Weekend, The Chemical Brothers, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Bon Iver, The National, Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, Prophets Of Rage, The 1975, Robyn, Years & Years, Jorja Smith, Greta Van Fleet and many more.
New acts announced for A Campingflight to Lowlands Paradise, or simply Lowlands for short, include James Blake, The Vaccines, Lil Uzi Vert, Bodega, Eskorzo, Colin Benders, Loyle Carner, Black Midi, Donnie, Bamba Pana & Makaveli, Camo & Crooked, Tamino, IAMDDB and many more.
They join previously announced acts including Tame Impala, Twenty One Pilots, A$AP Rocky, Anderson.Paak & the Free Nationals, The National, Billie Eilish, New Order, Paul Kalkbrenner, Royal Blood and more.
This year marks the 27th edition of Lowlands, which takes place at Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, Aug. 16-18.
The UK’s first Americana festival Maverick, which celebrates its 12th edition, July 5-7, at Easton Farm Park in Suffolk, England, has announced its lineup.
This year Maverick Festival will be celebrating Bluegrass on the Friday night, with performances from Chance McCoy, Lowly Strung and Man About A Horse. Saturday’s programme will include a celebration of the protest song, introduced by comedian/musician Rich Hall.
Also announced: Dana Immanuel & The Stolen Band, Hannah Aldridge, Broken Islands, Amy Lott, Drew Young, Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes, Rachel Harrington and many more.
Polish boutique festival OFF, which takes place Aug. 2-4 in Katowice’s Three Pond Valley, aded Jarvis Cocker, Hania Rani, Honey Dijon, Soccer Mommy and more to its lineup, which also includes Foals, Suede, Stereolab, Neneh Cherry, Aldous Harding, Superorganism, Perfect Son, Electric Wizard, The Gaslamp Killer, The Comet is Coming, IC3PEAK, Daughters, Lotic: Endless Power, The Body, Dezerter performs Underground Out of Poland, slowthai, Black Midi and many more.
Iceland Airwaves has revealed the second phase of its lineup, which includes girl in red, Ólöf Arnalds, Penelope Isles, Gabriel Ólafs, Free Love, Pottery, Ivan Dorn, Pip Blom, Niklas Paschburg, Hugar, JFDR, Seabear, Mammút and more.
They join previously announced Mac DeMarco, Whitney, Shame, Georgia, GDRN, Hatari, Une Misère and others, Nov. 6-9, in Reykjavík, Iceland.
Meanwhile, Barclaycard Presents British Summer Time Hyde Park announced that two special guests will be joining headliner Barbra Streisand on July 7: Bryan Ferry and Kris Kristofferson.
Other headliners for the AEG Presents event include Celine Dion (July 5), Stevie Wonder (July 6), Florence + the Machine/The National (July 13) and Robbie Williams (July 14).

DF Concerts, which already announced some big names for TRNSMT Festival in Glasgow Green, July 12-14, has now revealed the first names for its other two flagship events in Scotland, Glasgow Summer Sessions and Edinburgh Summer Sessions.
Glasgow Summer Sessions, Aug. 16-25 at Bellahouston Park, welcomes The Cure, who’ll play their first live gig in Scotland since 27 years. Foo Fighters and The 1975 have been announced as headliners as well.
The capital of Edinburgh, where the Summer Sessions take place Aug. 7-18 at Princes Street Gardens, added Florence + the Machine, CHVRCHES, Primal Scream, Lewis Capaldi and more.
Hospital Records and world-famous dance brand Ministry of Sound will curate one day each at music and action sports festival Wheels and Fins, which takes place on Joss Bay in Kent, England, Sept. 7-8. Confirmed acts include S.P.Y, Kings Of The Rollers, Logistics, Nu:Tone, Etherwood, Whiney, Uncle Dugs, Inja, Dynamite MC, Noisia, Redlight, DJ Zinc, Barely Legal, Emerald, Harriet Jaxxon, Just Geo and Chris Thomas.

Flow Festival, Aug. 9-11 in Helsinki, Finland, announced the lineup for the Reaktor Backyard, which is dedicated to an eclectic selection of dance music. It includes Theo Parrish, Levon Vincent, Palms Trax, Fred P and many others.
