Red Tail Productions Appoints David Denson As Vice President
Veteran producer David Denson has been named vice president at Red Tail Production effective immediately, Red Tail Entertainment announced Jan. 8.
Denson will handle day-to-day management of Forth Worth, Texas-based Red Tail Productions, including overseeing Prehistoric Aquarium, Dinosaur Zoo Live, and Double Dare Live. The VP will also work to identify and develop new production opportunities.
He was most recently the director of programming for the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas and producer of the Center’s Elevator Project series. His resume includes work with the Theatre Communications Group in New York as well as running the City of Dallas’ performance venues.
“It is a pleasure and privilege for Denson to join the Red Tail Entertainment family,” company president Marc Engel said in a statement. “He’ll be an amazing resource, and a dependable teammate as Red Tail Entertainment grows into an ever-stronger player in the industry.”
“I am absolutely jazzed to join Phil, Marc, Kelsey and the Red Tail team and contribute to their success with inspired, innovative and compelling live entertainment that will thrill audiences from coast to coast,” Denson added.
Promotion company 35 Concerts announced last May that it had merged with its parent company, Red Tail Entertainment, and would operate as Red Tail Entertainment, consisting of a presenting division called Red Tail Live! and a producing division called Red Tail Productions.
