Greg Mrva Named Chief Financial Officer Of StubHub In San Francisco

StubHub’s new CFO.
StubHub has appointed a new chief financial officer, Greg Mrva, who brings more than two decades of finance and operating experience at leading investment banking and Internet companies with him.
Mrva is based in StubHub’s San Francisco headquarters, reporting to StubHub president Sukhinder Singh Cassidy and eBay CFO Scott Schenkel. He sits on both the StubHub and eBay Finance leadership teams and is responsible for StubHub financial planning, accounting, analysis, operations, management, and strategy. He will share responsibility for setting strategic direction of the business, including oversight of StubHub’s acquisitions team.
Mrva was most recently managing director of Global Internet Banking at Morgan Stanley, where he led a team responsible for providing advice and execution on capital markets and strategic transactions to leading consumer Internet businesses.
Prior to that, he was the global head of Internet investment banking for Barclays. Other previous positions include vice president of M´mergers and acquisitions at Yahoo!, and vice president of corporate development at Mpath Interactive.
Mrva received a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a bachelor of arts in history and economics, with highest distinction, from the University of Virginia. He previously served on the board of directors of Citadel Broadcasting and GMarket in Korea.
