Steve Peck’s Diversified National Artists Returns After BLA Closure

Steve Peck announced today he has brought back his own agency, Diversified National Artists, after it was reported that Buddy Lee Attractions was shuttering.

Based out of Palm Beach, Fla., Peck’s DNA promises to launch an artist development division and book artists for festivals and tours.

Peck first started DNA after Live Nation announced it would acquire Fantasma Productions, whose founder, the late Jon Stoll, he had worked with for several years. DNA was acquired by BLA in 2008, and Peck left to take a VP role at Skyline Music before eventually returning to BLA.

Fellow agent Jon Sayles will work with DNA out of Detroit and Paul Easton will support the Corporate & Special Events division. Sayles also previously worked at Buddy Lee Attractions.

A website and official client roster are expected next week.

Vanilla Fudge co-manager Bruce Pilato of Pilato Entertainment, Marketing & Media told Pollstar that the band had a relationship with Peck while he worked at BLA, and he booked a few shows with them, but they were not exclusively repped by BLA.

It’s still unclear what clients will be coming over to DNA and whether those will be exclusive representation.
