Elvis Costello & The Imposters Lock In Late 2018 Dates
With a new album on the way, Elvis Costello & The Imposters are hitting North America in November and December, focusing mostly on theatres.
The dates kick off Nov. 2 at Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, Pa., and run just over a month, ending Dec. 4 at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver.
Tickets are on sale now, and the purchase of each ticket will include a preorder of Look Now, the group’s upcoming album due out Oct. 12.
The band includes Steve Nieve on keyboards, Davey Faragher on bass and Pete Thomas on drums.
Costello recently had to cancel a good chunk of his European summer tour after undergoing surgery for a “small but very aggressive” cancerous tumor, but apparently he will be well enough to tour again by November. He also toured with Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival and held down a brief Las Vegas residency this year.
His three-night stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y., grossed $431,275 off 3,919 tickets, a sold-out 1,515 seats per night.
