DJ Khaled Leads BET Awards Nominations
DJ Khaled is up for six awards at the BET Awards to be aired live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles June 24.

DJ Khaled opens for Demi Lovato at The Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., March 24.
DJ Khaled’s nominations include best hip hop artist of the year, album of the year for Grateful, two for collaborations and video of the year for “Wild Thoughts” featuring Bryson Tiller and Rihanna.
Also nominated for best male hip hop artist are Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, and J. Cole.
Next up are Sza and Migos with four nominations each.
Sza is up for best new artist, best female R&B / pop artist and album of the year. Migos’ nominations include for best group and video of the year for “Walk it Talk It,” featuring Drake.
Also nominated for best female R&B/pop artist are Kehlani, Rihanna, Beyoncé, and H.E.R.
Nominated for best male R&B/pop artist are Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Khalid, and Daniel Caesar.
Migos’ nominations include best group, vying with A Tribe Called Quest, N.E.R.D., Rae Sremmurd, and Chloe X Halle, and album of the year for Culture II.
Other nominees for album of the year are Jay-Z for 4:44, Kendrick Lamar for Damn and the Black Panther: The Album. – Tina Amendola
