Updated: U2 Adds More European Concerts, Including Stops In Belfast and Dublin

There’s never enough U2 as far as European fans are concerned. Ticket demands have resulted in new shows added to the band’s eXPERIENCE & iNNONCENCE tour for Berlin, Cologne, Paris, Lisbon, Madrid, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Manchester and London.
The mighty U2 press machine sent out the news, saying previously announced Europe shows sold out “in record time.” But that shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone following the travel exploits of Bono & Co. U2’s 2017 summer run across the continent was a filled-to-capacity adventure, selling 744,454 tickets for a total gross reaching more than $83.6 million.
The additional shows are Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin Sept. 1; Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany, Sept. 5; AccorHotels Arena in Paris Sept. 12; Altice Arena in Lisbon Sept. 17; WiZink Center in Madrid Sept. 21; Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany, Oct. 4; Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam Oct. 8; Manchester Arena in Manchester, England, Oct. 20 and The O2-London Oct. 24.
Update: The long-promised shows planned for Dublin and Belfast now have dates. U2 will play Belfast’s SSE Arena Oct. 27 and Dublin’s 3Arena Nov. 5-6.
