CAA Aligns With Travel And Entertainment Provider
CAA has invested in Entertainment Benefits Group, a travel and entertainment provider that gives corporate clients access to special deals and offers. The financial details weren’t disclosed.
EBG serves 40,000 corporate clients, according to a news release, providing “access to private exclusive deals and special offers to book entertainment and travel through company-sanctioned perk programs.”
“We will work closely with CAA to assist artists, sports teams, venues and others in the live entertainment space to sell more inventory from the back for the venue to the front,” EBG founder and CEO Brett Reizen said. Noted theatre owner the Shubert Organization is also an investor in EBG.
Through this deal CAA will also “align its market-leading Premium Experience division under EBG’s management,” and EBG will lead CAA’s hospitality partnerships with the MLB, NBA and NHL.
“Providing its entertainment partners with unique access to its significant distribution pipeline, EBG’s state-of-the-art technology integration with major ticketing and travel providers, combined with its direct-to-consumer relationships and data-driven approach, truly differentiates it from other organizations,” CAA president Richard Lovett said in a release.
EBG started out as TicketsatWork, offering clients and members discounts and access to special deals. The company merged with Plum Benefits in 2014, which was owned by the Shubert Group, giving birth to the EBG Corporate Programs Division. EBG now includes the employee deals portal Working Advantage in its stable of offerings.
