Bridgestone Maintains Arena Naming Rights

Bridgestone officials announced Dec. 13 the company renewed its deal for naming rights at the Nashville home of the NHL’s Predators as it opened a new headquarters in Downtown Music City.
Bridgestone initially secured the naming rights for Bridgestone Arena in 2010 and will now keep its name on the building until 2025, according to The Tennessean.
The 20,000-capacity arena recently staged two nights of Garth Brooks performances Dec. 9-10 and will see the Predators hosting the Canucks tonight. Bridgestone remains one of the city’s major music destinations, as it reported two shows grossing more than $1 million last month, Jay-Z and Guns N’ Roses Sept. 15 and 13.
The venue also hosted the Country Music Association Awards in November, where Brooks once again won entertainer of the year.
Bridgestone’s new headquarters is located at 4th Ave. South and Demonbreun St., and reportedly cost $200 million to house Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, Bridgestone Retail Operations, Firestone Building Products and Firestone Industrial Products.
