The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore

Kesha and Macklemore are teaming up for a summer North American tour of amphitheatres and arenas, dubbed “The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore.”

The nine-week, 30-market tour starts June 6 at the Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix and takes in venues and markets including the Forum in Los Angeles, Sprint Center in Kansas City, Jiffy Lube Live in Virginia, Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania, and ends Aug. 5 at the Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa.

A presale begins Nov. 13, with the general onsale Dec.15 at 12 p.m.local time at LiveNation.com.

One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated, with Kesha donating her proceeds to RAINN (Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network), the largest anti-sexual assault organization in the US. Macklemore will donate his proceeds to M Plus1, and organization that advances racial and social justice through the M&RL Equity Fund.

Both artists have new music, with Kesha’s triumphant return, Rainbow, debuting at No. 1. Her recent time on the road includes selling out House of Blues in Boston (Oct. 4, 2,425 tickets, $105,610 gross) and 2,168 tickets sold to Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Sept. 27, which grossed $93,845.

Macklemore’s first solo album in 12 years, Gemini, debuted at No. 2 on the charts. This year he headlined major clubs and theatres, with recent box office reports submitted to Pollstar including Nov. 14 at House of Blues Boston (sold out, $86,174 gross,), Nov. 7 at Stage AE in Pittsburgh (2,300 sold out, $82,800) and Oct. 19 at Emo’s in Austin, which sold out 1,550 tickets and grossed just shy of $56,000.

He’s already got plans for much of 2018, with solo dates in Australia and Europe taking him into May.

Kesha and Macklemore appeared together on “Good Old Days” from Macklemore’s latest album, and the duo performed the song together on “Ellen” earlier this year and at KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball last week.
