For the first time ever, Grateful Dead alumni Phil Lesh and Bob Weir will tour as a duo, playing shows in Boston, New York and Chicago.

The itinerary has the iconic musicians playing New York’s Radio City Music Hall March 2-3; Boston’s Wang Theatre March 7-8 and the Windy City’s Chicago Theatre March 10-11.

Weir’s solo gigs during the last two years included a stop at the Chicago Theatre that resulted in a near sell-out with 98 percent of the 3,603-seat venue sold and grossing $221, 864.  Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band performed at  the Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, N.Y., Oct. 30, an evening the resulted in selling all tickets for a gross of $56,480.
