Marilyn Hauser Joins Barclays Center
Industry vet Marilyn Hauser has been named VP of programming for Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, beginning Dec. 18.

Hauser is nearly a household name in the industry, having spent 25 years at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan where she led programming and marketing for the Palace, DTE Energy Music Theatre, Meadow Brook Amphitheatre, and the Detroit Pistons. Hauser also oversaw booking for Prudential Center as well as its event marketing, promotion and publicity and, most recently was senior VP of talent programming for Live Nation.
“[Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment] is recognized among the premier entertainment companies in the world,” Hauser said in a statement. “I am thrilled to be joining their team.”
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Brooks joined the company as chief marketing officer.
“I am excited to solidify our marketing and programming departments with the additions of Elizabeth and Marilyn,” BSE CEO Brett Yormark said in a statement. “We are now primed to support and continue BSE’s rapid growth with their diverse backgrounds in sports, entertainment, music and technology.
