Gadget Goes Full Service
Switzerland’s concert agency Gadget GmbH and Rozbero Management have merged into the Gadget Entertainment AG, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
Gadget Entertainment offers live event promotion and organization, management, booking, publishing, record label services, branded entertainment, marketing and consulting for corporate partners.
Gadget founder Eric Kramer, Gadget managing partner Reto Lazzarotto and Rozbero founder Oliver Rosa will manage the new company. Also partnering are Stefan Wyss, who has worked for Gadget since 2005, and holding company Wepromote Entertainment Group Switzerland AG.
Wepromote was launched in 2015 to help Switzerland’s independent promoters compete with the multinational competition. It consolidated Openair St.Gallen, SummerDays Festival Arbon, Seaside Festival Spiez, Unique Moments Zürich, Incognito Productions, Wildpony and Gadget under one roof.
The newly formed Gadget Entertainment AG already moved into its new offices in Zurich. It employs 12 people. Both Gadget and Rozbero will continue to operate under their current structure until the end of the year.
Rosa said joining with Gadget after years of close collaboration and friendship was an “equally natural and consequent step.”
Kramer added, “The merger creates new structures and opportunities” to further strengthen both companies standing in the ever changing entertainment industry.
The Gadget Entertainment AG will be home to some of Switzerland’s most successful artists, including Adrian Stern, Anna Rossinelli, Baschi, Dabu Fantastic, Hecht, Lovebugs, Nickless, Pegasus and Stress.
Long-term career-building remains the focus of Gadget, the announcement reads.
