Barenaked Ladies Put On A Show In Canada, UK
Barenaked Ladies will share a new album, Fake Nudes, later this year, and Canada and the U.K. are getting shows to accompany the release.
The Ladies already have an extensive Canadian tour planned through October and into November, but the group has added even more stops to the routing.
The new shows start with two nights at Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver Nov. 17-18. Additional gigs in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario are also planned, with the closer set for Dec. 9 at Toronto’s Massey Hall.
Tickets are on sale today at 10 a.m. local time. Each ticket purchased to a Canadian show gets you a digital copy of the album.
The Ladies are also headed for the U.K. in the spring. A tour from April 18 in Salisbury, England to April 27 in London goes on sale today at 9 a.m. local time. U.K. ticket-buyers will get a chance to pre-order a digital copy of Fake Nudes when purchasing the tickets.
Barenaked Ladies might have reached the height of their radio success in the ’90s but the band can still sell tickets. More than half of the band’s shows we have data from this year have been 99-100 percent sold out.
The group’s next play is at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario on Saturday. You can also catch BNL at Budweiser Gardens in Southern California next week.
Barenaked Ladies have lots going on in the coming year. Lucky for you, we’ve got the skinny on all things BNL tour related at the group’s Pollstar artist page.
