Songs of Hope Honors Davis, Zimmer
Some of music’s biggest names will celebrate the song and songwriter at the Songs of Hope XIII charity event taking place Sept. 28 in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

The charity event features awards presentations including record producer Clive Davis (Legend in Songwriting Award), Hans Zimmer (Electronic Arts Composer of The Century), Bleachers lead singer Jack Antonoff (Martin Bandier Vanguard Award); Grammy-winning record producer/songwriter Max Martin;, and The Chainsmokers (Pandora Trendsetter Award).
The event takes place at the at the KIDinaKORNER Kampus, which is home to hit maker Alex da Kid.
Songs of Hope brings together music and entertainment industry figures committed to fighting cancer, HIV/AIDS, diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses.
There’s a silent auction to raise money for City of Hope, an independent biomedical research institution and cancer treatment center.
For the 13th consecutive year, the event is co-chaired by David Renzer, chairman and CEO of Spirit Music Group; The Davis Firm founder Doug Davis; Universal Music Publishing Group North American Preisdent Evan Lamberg and Electronic Arts President of Music Steve Schnur.
