Buckethead Books Fall Tour
The bucket. The long, curly, hair. The expressionless, white mask. The innovative, genre-crossing guitar chops. Of course, we’re talking about the one and only Buckethead, who has lined up a run of U.S. gigs this fall.
“You needn’t be conversant with minor 9th intervals or quadratonal arpeggios to be knocked sideways by Buckethead’s war-of-the-worlds guitar eruptions,” a 2002 feature by MTV News declared. “His star-burst chord clusters and eye-frazzling eight-finger solos aren’t like much else you’ll be hearing on this planet anytime soon.”

In addition to his impressive solo career, Buckethead has worked with a number of acts over the years including Bootsy Collins, Iggy Pop, Primus, and Guns N’ Roses.
On the fall tour he’ll be joined by Brewer (aka multi-instrumentalist composer/producer/engineer Dan Monti) and Brain (aka drummer/composer Bryan Kei Mantia).
The routing is concentrated in the western half of the U.S., starting with several nights in Colorado. The first stop is The Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colo., Sept. 20.
The tour includes gigs at Denver’s Gothic Theatre, Salt Lake City’s The Depot, Boise’s Egyptian Theatre and Seattle’s Showbox.
