Jake Clemons Books Solo Gigs
Jake Clemons’ “perpetual world tour” continues with a run of gigs in August and September. With the E Street Band taking a break from the road, that gives Clemons time to do his own thing and show off music from his new solo album.
The singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist released Fear + Love in January on BMG. The album includes the track “Janine,” which he wrote to bring attention to the number of victims affected by domestic abuse.
Clemons recently launched The Janine Project, an “online resource to further educate, help and protect women who have suffered life threatening relationships whether directly or indirectly.” The website notes that he will be reaching out to shelters and organizations to give them an opportunity to share information about their services at his concerts.
