Tom Petty Tacks On California Stops

Having recently completed a headline set at a destination festival in Northern California, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers are adding a few more stops in the area to its 40th anniversary tour.

The new gigs are Aug. 22-23 at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley , and Aug. 25 at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center.

A Highway Companions Club presale begins June 7 at 10 a.m. Tickets to these shows go on to the general public sale June 9 at 10 a.m. All times local.

Petty took the stage at BottleRock Napa Valley recently in Napa, Calif., and is still hitting arenas and amphitheaters around the country with Joe Walsh. The next stop for Tom is tonight at Excel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
