Universal On The Record

Universal Music is starting its first Korean record label, called On the Record, the company announced April 11.

Among the local artists already signed to the label are 1415, Taek and Yooncell. According to the Korea Herald newspaper, the label is busy scouting out other new artists.

Universal Music stated, “We will present the music of various singer-songwriters without any limitations with regard to genre.” The label’s first album, by 1415, will be released April 21.
