FYF Fest Shares Lineup

Missy Elliot, Frank Ocean, Nine Inch Nails, and Bjork top the lineup for the expanded three-day version of FYF Fest in 2017.

Missy Elliott continues her live show reemergence at the Essence Music Festival at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans July 4.

The shindig will take place in Los Angeles’ Exposition Park July 21-23. We Know that the headliners for Friday, July 21 will be Elliot and Bjork, with Ocean taking the stage on Saturday, and the Nails closing things out on Sunday.

The lineup in its entirety is an eclectic mix. Additional artists on the bill include A Tribe Called Quest, Erykah Badu, Solange, Run The Jewels, Flying Lotus, Anderson .Paak, Iggy Pop, MGMT, Hannibal Buress, 6lack, Little Dragon, Kehlani, Angel Olsen, Exposition Park and many more.

The event is being billed as Elliot’s only scheduled performance in 2017. Other storylines: This will be Tribe’s first time on the West Coast since dropping We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service in 2016; Motor City Drum Ensemble is taking the stage for the first time since 2010; FYF will be the U.S. debut for Helena Hauff and Nadia Rose; and Buress’s performance also marks the first comedian at the event since 2013. Plus, this is the first performance announced for Kehlani since she was forced to cancel her European tour earlier this month to undergo hernia surgery.
