‘Scene Is Set’ For Sold-out ILMC
More than 1,100 live music professionals will head to London’s Royal Garden Hotel for the 29th International Live Music Conference March 8-10, meaning it’s sold out.
It’s murder!
At press time, tickets remained for the annual Gala Dinner and the Arthur Awards, which take place on March 9, as well as for the ILMC Production Meeting, which traditionally takes place the day before the official event, March 7.
his year’s ILMC’s keynote interview is former U2 manager Paul McGuinness, while panel topics include Brexit, ticketing, YouTubers, streaming and digital rights, social media marketing, emerging markets, terrorism, direct licensing and the agency business.
Workshop topics include Snapchat, Instagram, mental health, visas and immigration, and grassroots venue activity.
“With the keenest investigators, and most super sleuths in the business all heading to London, the scene is now set for a great edition,” says ILMC head Greg Parmley. This year’s ILMC theme borrows from the classic “Clue” murder mystery-solving board game.
