Soundgarden Rocks North America

Soundgarden has announced a series of headline performances in theatres around the U.S. to complement the swathe of previously festival appearances it already has been announced for. The headline dates will also feature Dillinger Escape Plan and The Pretty Reckless as openers.

The eight headline dates start in Atlanta on May 3 at the Fox Theatre and conclude at The Bomb Factory in Dallas on May 26.

The name of the game for Chris Cornell and Co. in 2017 is festivals. We have 10 festival appearances currently on the books, the first of which is WXTB 98 Rockfest in Tampa, Fla., which is followed by two more Florida festival appearances at

Welcome To Rockville and Monster Energy Fort Rock. A good number of the events the band is playing are affiliated with the World’s Loudest Month series. The last appearance currently on the routing is WXTB 98 Rockfest in Pryor, Okla., on May 27.

The band is currently working on a new album and recently celebrated 25 years of Badmotorfinger.
