“We are proud to be able to provide the setting for such musical happenings,” said Beatrice Stirnimann, CEO of the Baloise Session.
All concert nights were recorded and will be broadcast in up to 140 countries. Sponsor Baloise, a Swiss insurance company, extended its partnership with the festival, securing it up to and including 2020.
The event’s organizers described the extension of this partnership as “a positive signal in a difficult year marked by a major loss,” referring to the passing of Baloise Session founder and promoter Matthias Müller.
Next year’s Session will take place Oct. 20 to Nov. 9.
