The Rolling Stones Ready To Rock

Saturday night’s Rolling Stones concert at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas is a go.  The band had to call off its Oct. 19 gig after Mick Jagger was stricken with laryngitis.

The band was scheduled for two nights at the venue after playing two concerts spread over consecutive weekends at the Desert Trip music festival in Indio, Calif., where the lineup also included Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, The Who and Roger Waters.

But fans had a rude awakening Wednesday morning of Oct. 19 when word spread that the Mickster was ailing and that the evening’s show had nixed.  Today’s announcement mentions a “possible rescheduling of the concert “ and urges ticket holders to wait for further information before seeking refunds.

As they did earlier this week, The Rolling Stones, T-Mobile Arena, AXS, MGM Resorts, Concerts West and AEG Live are saying they “apologize for any inconvenience” and that they are “not responsible for hotel, travel or other expenses related to the canceled performance on Oct. 19.”
